Things You'll Need
- Wood cutouts (we used witch hats and ghost from the dollar tree)
- Acrylic paints - white and any other colors you'd like
- Paper plate (big enough to fit the wood cutout) or similar
- Painters tape or similar
Directions
Start by attaching a piece of blue painters tape to the back of the wood cutout. This will give you a handle, in order to dip it into the paint. Pour a few tablespoons of paint onto the plate, get the paint flow around the plate. Make sure there’s enough paint to cover the cutout when dipped. Add other colors of choice, no right way to do this. Can add paint in drops, can swirl it. Whatever pattern you’d like, play around with it. Now place the cutout onto the plate and gently tap around all the cutout, to be sure its in full contact with the paint. Life up with the blue tape handle. If any part isn’t covered, dip again or use a paint brush to smear the bare area. Lay face up to dry. Can seal with acrylic safe sealer or not.
