How To Make

Step 1: add baking soda to mixing bowl and add 3/4 cup water, to start.

Step 2: mix with hands or spoon until a ball form. If too dry add more water. If too wet, more baking soda. Ball should form and not fall apart when done. 

Step 3: break into three different sized balls, small-large.

Step 4: place one ball onto the silicon mat and smash. Make a well in the center and glitter. Do not add too much glitter to the balls or they will not hold together. 

Step 5: carefully seal up the glitter so that it remains in the center. Compact the ball as much as possible. Set aside and repeat with other two balls. 

Step 6: add eyes and nose to the head. Add arms to the body. (This step was done after freezing in the video, I don’t recommend doing that way because we ended up breaking it). 

Step 7: freeze for at least one hour. The longer you freeze, the longer it will take to melt. 

Step 8: setup tray by adding a few drops of food coloring to the bottom.

Step 9: add the fake glitter snow to the top of the food coloring, inside the tray.

Step 10: take balls out of freezer, place the bottom ball into the center of the tray. Take the second ball and dip just the bottom of it into water and place onto the base ball. You may need to twist it a little to get them to stick. Being very careful not to break them (ours stayed together until I added the arms). 

Step 11: repeat with the head.

Step 12: add the scarf and hat.

Step 13: add vinegar to a spray bottle and bowl. Sep everything out on a silicone mat for play.

How To Play

No Rules, just spray and squeeze the vinegar onto the snowman. Watch him/her bubble and fizz away as he/she melts.
