  • Salt
  • Watercolors
  • Paint brush
  • Silicon mat
  • Water
  • Bowl

How To Make

Step 1: using the glue, draw out the snowflake and tree on the card stock.

Step 2: add the salt to either the snowflake or tree, generously.

Step 3: shake around to get everything evenly coated.

Step 4: tap off excess onto the other design. If the excess salt from the other design is not enough to coat, then add more salt.

Step 5: tap and shake to cover the design.

Step 6: allow to dry overnight.

Step 7: setup watercolors and bowl on the silicon mat with the designs.

How To Play

Deepening on you Childs skill level they may need some direction. Using a paint brush, instruct them to add a good amount of water to the watercolor palate. Then very gently, tap or press the brush onto the salt & glue, of one of the designs. The salt will be very delicate, so pressing too much or making brush stokes, can break it. Repeat until designs are colored.
