• box that can fit multiple objects in it and large enough to cut a hole for their had to fit easily 
• age appropriate toys and objects to place in the box

Step 1: cut a hole in box, be sure the edges are not sharp.

How To Play

This activity can be so much fun for baby because they are learning that objects can be inside of other objects. How they can take them out. Hide and seeks of sorts. Using objects they don’t normally play with, like socks or spatulas, are wonderful additions to this game. Things that make noise are most always a hit. 

Simply place box in front of baby on the floor and allow baby to explore. If they don’t understand what to do, show they by taking things out of the box and placing back in. Can help by placing on top of box by the hole. Lots of excitement when the do get things out of the box will encourage more exploration.
